  • NEST 2015
    The National Entrance Screening Test 2015 is a compulsory test for admission to 5 year integrated M Sc. Course in Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics at National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) , Bhubaneshwar, UM-DAE CBS Mumbai and ISERC also take admission through NEST. The students admitted to NISER and UM DAE CBS are eligible for INSPIRE scholarship (Instituted by Dept of science and Technology, Government of India. The NEST 2015 will be held on Saturday May 30,2015. All students admitted to NISER and UM DAE CBS are eligible for INSPIRE scholarship of Rs 60,000 per year and upto Rs 20,000 per year for summer / winter internship.   • NDA 2015
    To join the NDA ( National Defence Academy) the UPSC conducts entrance exam twice a year. The exam is conducted for admission to Army, Navy, Airforce wings of NDA. NDA 2015 will be held on 19th April 2015 and the last date to apply is 23rd Jan 2015. 

    Eligibility: 16 ½ to 19 yrs as of first day of the month in which course is due to commence. 12th Class of 10+2 System of Education/Equivalent for Army and with Physics and Maths for Air Force /Navy.

    Only Unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply.

    Mode of exam: There are two papers in NDA. The paper 1 is Mathematics of class 10th level. The duration is 2 and half hours and 300 marks . Paper II is General Ability Test. This General Ability section consists of Physics, Chemistry, General Science, History, Freedom Movement, Geography and current affairs.The SSB / Interview after the test is for 900 marks.
  • Regional Institute of Education RIE CEE 2015 for B.Sc. B.Ed. / B.Sc.Ed. 
    CEE is conducted for admission to B.Sc. B.Ed. / B.Sc.Ed. / BA B Ed / M Sc B Ed course offered by Regional Institute of Education, Ajmer, Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, Mysore. Through CEE-2015, the candidates also get opportunity for admission in 4 Year B.Sc. B.Ed. Course in Prarambh, School for Teacher Education (Setup by Govt. of Haryana) at Jhajjar, Haryana. The registrations are open from 8th April 2015 and the last date to send filled application forms is 11th May 2014 and test will be held on 7th June 2015. Syllabus for Common Entrance examination 1. Teaching Aptitude/ Attitude: Reflections of National Curriculum Framework, RTE Act, Child Rights, Programmes and Policies of Government of India 2. Reasoning ability :Verbal, Non-Verbal 3. Language proficiency in English: Comprehension and Grammar Out of 100 marks, Teaching Aptitude/ Attitude - 30%, Reasoning Ability - 30% Language proficiency in English - 20%. Students need to clear minimum cut offs of all three test areas. Rest 20% weightage will be of aggregate marks obtained in 12th exam only in subject of combinations of the group they are applied for.   • GGS IP University CET
    GGS Indraprastha University, Delhi conducts Common Entrance Test ( CET) for admission to its various courses after class 12th. The courses offered through CET are MBBS, BDS,BHMS, BAMS, BCA,BA LLB, BBA LLB, BBA, BJMC, B Tech, BHMCT, B Com Hons and B Arch. 

    It is a National level Exam. 85% seats in the University schools and Government Institutions are reserved for Delhi region and For institutions located outside Delhi the admissins are made on all India basis. Government Colleges affiliated to GGS IP University are as follows : Ambedkar Institute of Technology , Patparganj, Bhai Parmanad Institute of Business Studies, Shakurpur, Mahila Institute of Technology, National Power Training Institute , Vardhman Mahavir Medical College, Dr. B R Sur Homeopathic Medical College Hospital and Research Center , Delhi Institute of Heritage Research and Management. 

    Forms are available and the applications close on 7th April 2015. The entrance exams will be held on different dates for various programs and the entrance begin on 25th April. 
  • CUCET 2015 
    Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET) 2015 is organized for admission to Integrated, undergraduate and post Graduate and Research Programs ( BA Bed, BSc B Ed, BA LLB, Integrated MA, MA, MSc, MSc B Ed, Integrated M Sc in 10 Central Universities of Haryana, Bihar, Gujarat, Jammu, Jharkhand, Kashmir, Kerala, Orissa, Punjab, Rajasthan and Tamil Nadu.

    It is a National level Exam and students can apply for in online as well as offline mode.

    Forms are available now and the applications will close on 5th May 2015. Entrance exams will be held on 6-7 June 2015. 
  • BHU UET 2015 
    Benaras Hindu University( BHU) Varanasi will conduct UET 2015 for admission to its various undergraduate programs. The test will be conducted at Varanasi, Mirzapur, Gorakhpur, Lucknow, Kolkata, Delhi , Hyderabad and Chennai. 

    Online application process is now open and studnets can apply till 8th March. The tests will be conducted in the last week of April / first week of May. 
  • PU CET 2015 
    Panjab University Common Entrance Test (PU CET 2015) is entrance exam conducted after class 12th conducted by Panjab University, Chandigarh for admission to B Pharm and B Sc Hons in Anthropology, Bio Chemistry, Bio Physics, Biotechnology, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Microbiology, Mathematics, Mathematics and Computing, Physics, Physics and Electronics, Zoology. 

    The Prospectus and forms will be available from 18th March for PU CET 2015. The last date to submit applications is 28th April and the CET will be conducted on 23rd May 2015 in Chandigarh. 
  • HSEE 2015 
    Humanities and social Sciences Entrance exam HSEE is conducted every year for admission to 5 year integrated MA Course in Developmental Studies and MA in English Studies offered by IIT Madras. There are 46 seats and first 2 years are common to all students after which they branch out to any one of the streams.
  • Pattern of HSEE 2015: The exam is of 3 hours duration and has two parts. Part 1 consists of MCQ's of 2 and half hours duration ( online test ) and Part 2 is essay writing. Part 1 covers English and Comprehension, Analytical and Quantitative techniques , Indian Economics, Indian Society, Contemporary World affairs, and environment and ecology. Part II requires candidate to write an essay on general topic. 10+2 students with min 60% marks in any stream are eligible for the exam. The exam is held in 9 cities in India and Foreign Nationals can also take admission through this exam only. In 2015 the last date for submitting applications was 26th Jan 2015 and the test will be held on 26th April 2015 
  • Tata Institute of Social Sciences TISS BA Hons Social Work Entrance TISS BAT 2015 
    TISS BAT 2015 is conducted every year for admission to 3 year BA Course in Social Work with specialisation in Rural Development and for BA and MA integrated program . The courses are offered at Hyderabad, Guwahati, Tuljapur. There are 60 seats in each campus ( Total 180 ).
  • Pattern of TISS BAT 2015 : The exam is a computer based test of 90 minutes duration and there are total 100 marks. Part A is 60 minutes with MCQ's on current affairs, social awareness and logical and analytical ability. Part B is written test with descriptive questions in English. Candidates are expected to write two short answers in 30 minutes. In 2015 the last date for submitting applications is 13th April and the test will be held on 9th May 2015 
  • Symbiosis Entrance Test SET 2015 
    Symbiosis International University, Pune conducts entrance exam after 12th SET 2015 for admissions to Undergraduate Degree Programmes.
  • Pattern of SET 2015: The exam is of one and half hours duration and is an objective type test. SET is conducted in two sessions for 5 question papers and a candidate may apply to take one each from the two sessions. There is negative marking in the paper . the various papers in SET are Law, Design, General ( Applicable for BCA / BBA / BMS/ B Sc Eco/ BA), Engineering and Health Sciences. 
  • In 2015 the last date for submitting applications is 12th April 2015 and the test will be held on 2nd May 2015 

Journalism and Mass Communication Entrance Exams

  • Delhi University BA Journalism Entrance 
    Delhi University did not take any entrance test in 2014 for BA Hons English Journalism and BA Hons Hindi Patrakarita

    Eligibility:
    10+2 students are eligible to apply. .
    The application forms will be available in the month of May. 
    IP college for Women of Delhi University offers BA Hons Mass Media and Mass Communication . There are 52 seats in IP college. BA Hons English Journalism is offered by Delhi College of Art and Commerce ( 40 seats), , Kalindi College, Kamala Nehru College, Maharaj Agarsen College, Lady Shriram College, Ram Lal Anand college and PGDAV college. 
  • GGS IP University, New Delhi, Bachelor in Journalism and Mass Communication Entrance Exam 
    GGS IP University, New Delhi takes a common entrance test for admission to Bachelor in Journalism and Mass Communication Entrance Exam

    The test includes English language and Comprehension, General Awareness, Reasoning and Media Aptitude. .

    In 2015 the test will be conducted on 16th May and the last date to apply was 7th April 2015. There are many colleges that offer BJMC course like Vivekanada Institute of Professional Studies, Pitampura, Maha Raja Agarsen Institute of Management Studies and Jagannath International Management Institute JIMS Vasant Kunj. 

Management Entrance Tests

  • Integrated Programme in Management IPM(IIM Indore) admission 2015 
    The test is conducted by IIM Indore for admission to its 5 year Integrated Programme in Management IPM 2015 
    The aptitude test covers Quantitative Ability (60%) and verbal Ability (40%) sections. Students who score in both the sections are considered for short listing for PI.
    The test will be conducted on July 31, 2015 .

    Eligibility: 60% aggregate marks at Secondary/ X Std/ Equivalent and at Higher Secondary/XII/+2 level/ Equivalent for General and NC-OBC category candidates (55% aggregate marks at Secondary/ X Std/ Equivalent and at Higher Secondary/XII/+2 level/ Equivalent for SC, ST and PWD / DA candidates). All candidates meeting the minimum eligibility mentioned above will be called for Aptitude Test.
    Maximum age is 20 years.

    Applications are open and will close on April 9 2015.
  • Delhi University BMS entrance 2015 
    Delhi University conducts an entrance test for admission to its Bachelor of Management Studies, BFIA and Bachelor in Business Economics programs. The entrance test is held in many cities across India and the application process has begun from 20th may and will continue till June 5th and the test will be held on 14th June from 3 pm to 5 pm. 
    The test assesses the students on Quantitative Ability, Reasoning and Analytical Ability, General English and Business and General Awareness. All the sections carry 75 marks. For 2015 admissions the University f Delhi has made certain changes. In 2015 the final selections for BMS and BFIA will be based on 30% weightage to class 12th marks and 50% weightage to common entrance test scores and 10% each weightage to interview and GD. For BA Hons Business Economics equal weightage will be given to entrance test and class 12th board marks. In 2014 the test was held on 26th June 2014 and 22, 656 candidates took the exam. The total number of seats availbale in Bachelor of Managment Studies BMS are (277 ), BBA( FIA ) 62 and BA Hons Business Economics is 480. Following colleges offer BMS course.Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies ( 180 seats ), Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College (46 seats), Keshav Mahavidyalaya ( 46 seats ). BBA FIA is offered by Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies ( 62 seats ), and BA hons Business Economics is offered by Aryabhatta College ( 62 seats), B R Ambedkar College ( 62 seats), College of Vocational Studies (62 seats), Gargi College ( 45 seats ), LakshmiBai college ( 30 seats ), Maharaja Agarsen College (45 seats), Shivaji College ( 62 seats ), Sri Guru Gobind Singh college 40 seats , Sr Guru nanak Dev Khalsa college ( 40 seats ) and Sri Guru Teg Bahadur KHalsa college 40 seats ).

    Eligibility:
    (a) The candidate should have passed/appeared in Senior Secondary School Examination of CBSE or any other examination considered equivalent by the University of Delhi.
    (b) The candidate should have appeared and secured pass marks in English, Mathematics and two subjects from among the following: Accountancy, Agriculture, Biology, Biotechnology, Business Studies, Chemistry, Commerce, Computer Science, Economics, Entrepreneurship, Geography, History,Informatics Practices, Mathematics, Philosophy, Physics, Political Science, Psychology and Sociology.
    General category students should have min 60% marks in the qualifying examination.

    Foreign Nationals seeking admission to BMS course against the prescribed quota of seats are exempt from the test.
Chartered Accountancy Entrance Exam / CPT

CPT for Chartered Accountancy
Common Proficiency Test (CPT) is held twice every year and is open only to those students who are registered with Institute of Chartered Accountants of India on or before 2 April every year and who fulfill the eligibility criteria.

CPT was held on 22nd June in 2014.

Test pattern:
CPT is an objective type test of 200 marks of 4 subjects ie Fundamentals of Accounting, Mercantile Law, General Economics and Quantitative Aptitude with an objective to test the basic knowledge in these subjects. There are two sessions of 2 hours each and there is a small break after 1 session.
A candidate is declared to have passed the test if he obtains at one sitting a minimum of thirty percent marks in each section and 50% marks in the aggregate of all sections. The marking system has negative marks for wrong answers. Candidates are allowed to opt for Hindi medium Question Paper Booklet for answering the questions.
Eligibility: 10+2 Examination of any other recognized Board/University not covered above but recognized by Association of Indian Universities (AIU) as equivalent to Senior Secondary (10+2) Examination as recognized by Central Government.

Medical/Dental / Agriculture Science / Biology Entrance Exams

  • AIPMT 2015 
    All India Pre Medical Test ( AIPMT) is conducted for admission only for the 15% national quota in government medical/dental colleges all over India and for 100% seats in Delhi University , BHU, AFMC Jamia Hamdard and for medical colleges in states of Chhatisgarh, Jharkhand, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh. Madhya Pradesh, Andaman and Nicobar, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Odisha, Rajasthan and Himachal Pradesh. 
    CBSE conducts the test and it was held on May 3rd, 2015. The applications are usually available from the month of December.

    AIPMT-2015 will also be the basis of admission to medical or dental colleges voluntarily participating in the test in selected cities across the country and abroad.

    In AIPMT 2015, there will be just a single paper, as opposed to two papers in the older AIPMT. There will be 180 objective type questions from physics, chemistry, botany and zoology (45 questions from each subject). The last date to apply without late fee was 31st Dec 2014 and with late fee was 31st Jan 2015. The syllabus will be same as AIPMT 2014 and eligibility criteria will also be the same. In 2015 around 6 lakh students appeared for AIPMT for around 3200 MBBS seats and 300 BDS seats in 123 Government medical colleges and 29 Dental colleges in India . 

    The CBSE conducts the exam and the counseling is done by DGHS.
  • AIPVT
    All India Pre-Veterinary Test AIPVT is an entrance exam after 12th conducted for admission to 5 year B. Vsc and AH) courses in India. The exam is held to fill up 15% of total number of seats in Government Veterinary colleges except in the state of Jammu & Kashmir.

    Eligibility for AIPVT
    Students must have passed class 10+2 or equivalent Physics, Chemistry, Biology and any other elective subject with English at a level not less than the core course for English as prescribed by the National Council for Education Research.

    Exam Pattern: The test is of 3 hours and has one paper of 200 objective type questions from Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

  • Entrance Exam for AIIMS MBBS 2015 
    AIIMS conducts a entrance exam after 12th at National Level for admission to AIIMS MBBS and other 6 new AIIMS like institutions in Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, Jodhpur, Patna, Raipur and Rishikesh.

    There are 72 seats in the MBBS course in Delhi and 100 each in other 6 AIIMS like institutions.

    Eligibility: Age min 17 years and max 25 years. The candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology and have obtained min 60% marks. Similar terms and conditions are applicable for overseas citizens of India and there is 1 seat for foreign nationals. Foreign nationals need not take the entrance exam. 

    Exam Pattern : The test is of 3 and half hours and consists of four parts containing Physics 60 marks, Chemistry-60 marks and Biology 60 Marks and General Knowledge 20 marks.
    AIIMS MBBS Entrance Test will be held on 1st June 
  • All India entrance examination for admission to bachelor degree programs in Agriculture and alled sciences at Agriculture Universities AIEEA - UG 2015 
    Indian Council of Agricultural Research ICAR conducts a entrance exam after 12th at National Level for admission to 100% seats at Bachelor degree at NDRI Karnal, RLB Central University Jhansi and 15% seats for Bachelor degree at State Agricultural Universities, Central Agri University Imphal, Central Universities with Agricultural Faculty like BHU , Vishwa Bharti . Nagaland University , SHIATS Allahabad. 

    Bachelor degree programs are in the subjects of Agriculture , Horticulture , Fishries, Forestry , Home Science, Sericulture , Biotechnology, Agriculture engineering, Dairy Technology, Food Science, Agricultural marketing. Based on the results of AIEEA-UG-2015 examination, National Talent Scholarships (NTS) will be awarded to Bachelor degree students whereas based on the merit-rank in AIEEA-PG-2015 examination.

    Eligibility: Between 17 to 23 years for General category candidates as on 31st August 2015. (must have been born between 01.09.1992 to 01.09.1998). The upper age limit for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PC (Physically Challenged) categories would be relaxable by 5 years. Must have passed and obtained not less than 50% marks in aggregate for admission under General, UPS (Under Privileged State) and OBC categories or 40% marks in aggregate for admission under SC, ST and PC categories in 10+2 examination or equivalent/Inter (Agriculture) with PCM/ PCB/ PCMB/ PCA/ PCH subject combinations.

    Exam Pattern : There will be only one question paper consisting of 180 multiple-choice objective type questions, in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (or Agriculture) for “STREAM–A” and Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics for “STREAM–B”. The question paper will be in ENGLISH and HINDI. For each incorrect answer, one mark will be deducted from the total score.


    Applications are opened in February and the last date for 2015 was 23rd February 2015. AIEEA UG 2015 will be held on 11th April 2015 
  • Entrance Exam for BSc Hons Nursing( Delhi and other AIIMS ) and Para Medical courses at AIIMS New Delhi 
    AIIMS conducts a online entrance exam after 12th at National Level for admission to B Sc Hons Nursing and Para Medical courses ( Optometry- 19 seats and Medical Technology in Radiography 9 seats ). 

    There are 77 seats in the B Sc Hons Nursing course in Delhi and 60 each in other AIIMS. 

    Eligibility: Age min 17 years and max 25 years. The candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology and have obtained min 55% marks. For para medical course students ith physics, chemistry, biology / mathematics are eligible and they should have obtained min 50% marks.Exam Pattern: The test is of 2 hours and consists of four parts containing Physics 30 marks, Chemistry-30 marks and Biology 30 Marks and General Knowledge 10 marks. 


  • UPMT 2014 
    UPMT Uttarakhan Pre Medical Test 2014 entrance exam after 12th will be conducted by G B Pant Agriculture and Technology University, Pantnager for admission to state quota seats for MBBS and BDS courses in various Medical Colleges in Uttarakhand for the year 2014-15. 

    Eligibility: Age min 17 years and max 25 years. The candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology and have obtained min 60% marks.


  • UPCPMT 2015 
    UPCPMT UP Combined Pre Medical Test 2014 entrance exam after 12th is conducted for admissions to state quota seats for MBBS and BDS courses in various Medical Colleges in UP. 

    Eligibility: Age min 17 years and max 25 years. The candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology and have obtained min 50% marks.

    There are around 800 seats in various Government Medical Colleges through UP CPMT.

  • MGIMS 2015 
    Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Wardha Maharshtra, MGIMS Pre Medical Test 2015 entrance exam after 12th is conducted by MGIMS ever year for MBBS course. There are 46 seats for Maharashtra candidates and 46 seats for candidates of other states. 

    Eligibility: Age min 17 years and max 25 years. The candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology and have obtained min 60% marks.

    Aspiring students can apply from December till 7th March 2015 and the last date to receive applications is 20th March 2015 and the test will be held on 19th April 2015. Scheme of examination is as follows: The entrance exam will cover physics, chemistry and biology and these will have multiple choice questions. The part on Gandhian thought will be of long and short answer type.The fee structure in MGIMS is as applable to the Govt colleges in Maharashtra and the institute does not have any paid seats. 
  • CET Medical Entrance Exam 2014In the state of Karnataka, CET is conducted for admission to Medical and Engineering courses in various state colleges . This entrance exam after 12th is conducted by State government every year for free seats, payment seats and management seats for MBBS course. 

    Eligibility: Age min 17 years and max 25 years. The candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology and have obtained min 60% marks.
  • EAMCET Medical Entrance Exam 2014
    In the state of Andhra Pradesh, EAMCET is conducted for admission to Medical and Engineering courses in various state colleges . This entrance exam after 12th is conducted by JNTU every year for admission to Engineering, Medical and Agriculture Courses. 

    Eligibility: Age min 17 years and max 25 years. The candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Biotechnology/Mathematics and have obtained min 60% marks.

FIELDS TO CHOOSE AFTER 10+2

Engineering/ Architecture / Mathematics / Statistics Entrance Exams 

  • JEE Main 2015
    JEE Main 2015 is National level entrance exam after 12th for admission to Engineering/ Architecture programs at NITs, IIITs and centrally funded technical institutions like IIST, and is also the eligibility test for JEE Advanced. There are almost 39,000 seats in NIT's. The States of Gujarat, Maharashtra, Nagaland, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Uttarakhand and Odisha have joined JEE (Main) system. Therefore, the candidates seeking admission to the institutions in these states, which were earlier admitting based on their State Level Examination, are also advised to fill in the JEE (Main) - 2015 application form online.

    CBSE conducts the test, the notification is out in the month of November- Dec every year and the exam is held in the month of April. The notification for JEE Main 2015 is out and the last date to apply was 18th Dec 2014. Only online applications can be made. The test was held offline mode on 4th April and in online mode on 10th and 11th April. In 2015 close to 13 lakh students appeared for JEE Mains. The cutoff was 105 marks in JEE mains for JEE Advanced. 
    Mode of examination:
    Paper 1 For B Tech / BE (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) is conducted in online as well as offline mode. 
    Paper 2 For B Arch (Mathematics-1, Aptitude Test II and Drawing Test –III is conducted only in offline mode.
    For B.Arch and B Planning the students have to appear in Paper 2 and for all other UG courses students have to appear in Paper 1. Students can opt for papers in English as well as Hindi. One can attempt JEE 2 times only.

    Eligibility for JEE Main 2015 :
    For BE/B.Tech: Subjects in Qualifying Examination: Physics, Mathematics and one of the subjects from(Chemistry, Bio-technology, Computer Science, Biology) along with 50% marks in total including all subjects
    For B.Arch and B Planning: Mathematics subject along with 50% Marks in total including all subjects. 
  • JEE Advanced 2015
    JEE (Advanced) - 2015 is conducted by Joint Admission Board of IITs for admission to all undergraduate Engineering and other science programs offered at 16 IITs in India and ISM Dhanbad. (As per the eligibility criteria and clearing JEE Main).

    JEE Advanced is held after the JEE mains as Top 1.5 lakh students of JEE Main are eligible for the test. In 2015 the exam will be held on May 24, 2015 
    Mode of JEE Advanced:
    There are two papers of 3 hours each and both papers are compulsory. The question papers will be bilingual (in English and Hindi). Each of the question papers will consist of three separate sections on Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
    Candidates who wish to write JEE (Advanced) must write Paper - I of JEE (Main). Only top 1,50,000 candidates (including all categories)who qualify in Paper - I of JEE (Main) will be eligible to appear for JEE (Advanced). Also to be eligible the candidate should either be in the TOP 20 % in the board or should have scores more than 75% marks. A total of 2 consecutive attempts can be availed by candidates. 
    Candidates desirous of joining the B Arch are required to qualify in an Aptitude Test, the test is conducted at all Zonal IITs in the month of June. Seat allotment is done based on category wise all India Rank in JEE advanced. The test is conducted in English only and students have to register for this separately.
  • NATA 2015 
    National Aptitude Test in Architecture NATA 2015 is conducted by Council of Architecture for admission to B Arch in India in Government and Government aided and un-aided colleges of Architecture.

    NATA 2015 can be given at any designated test centers, at least 6 working days prior to the cut off date for applying in the preferred colleges.NATA 2015 applications forms are available in the month of March. For NATA 2015 the registrations are now open and interested students can take the test beginning 1st April. The last date to appear for NATA 2015 is 21st Aug 2015. Interested students can take the exam on any working day from April to Aug at the designated centres .

    The National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) 2015 measures the aptitude of the applicant for specific field of study, i.e. Architecture. The test measures drawing and observation skills, sense of proportion, aesthetic sensitivity and critical thinking ability that have been acquired over a long period of time and that are related to specific field of study, i.e. Architecture. The drawing aptitude is judged on the following aspects -  Ability to sketch a given object proportionately and rendering the same in visually appealing manner.  Visualising and drawing the effects of light on the object and shadows cast on surroundings.  Sense of perspective drawing  Combining and composing given three dimensional elements to form a building or structural form.  Creating interesting two dimensional composition using given shapes and forms.  Creating visual harmony using colours in given composition.  Understanding of scale and proportions.  Drawing from memory through pencil sketch on themes from day to day experiences. AESTHETIC SENSITIVITY TEST This is computer based test where candidate has to answer 40 multiple choice questions. The aesthetic sensitivity test measures perception, imagination and observation, creativity and communication along with architectural awareness and comprises of -  Visualising three dimensional objects from two dimensional drawings.  Visualising different sides of three dimensional objects.  Identifying commonly used materials and objects based on their textural qualities.  Analytical reasoning.  Mental Ability.  Imaginative comprehension and expression.  Architectural awareness. 

    Eligibility:Candidates having 50% marks in 10+2 or equivalent examination with mathematics as one of the subject, only are eligible for admission to B.Arch. Course.
    As per Council of Architecture regulations, a candidate applying to any school / college of architecture in India should have achieved 40% score in NATA, i.e. at least 80/200, for consideration of admission into first year B.Arch.
  • BITSAT 2015 
    BITSAT 2015 is computer based online entrance exam after 12th for admission to integrated First degree programmes of BITS Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad, for admission to BITS Pilani Engineering, Pharmacy, Information Systems and other courses.

    Eligibility:
    Candidates should have passed the 12th class examination of 10+2 system from a recognized Central or State board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Further the candidate should have obtained a minimum of aggregate 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects in 12th examination, at least 60% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects and should have adequate proficiency in English.Only students who are appearing in 12th class examination in 2015 or have passed in 2014 are eligible for BITSAT 2015
    First rank students of all the central and state boards in India for the year 2015 will be given direct admission to the program of their choice, irrespective of their BITSAT-2015 score as per the eligibility criteria.
    BITSAT-2015 will be of total 3-hour duration (without break). The test consists of four parts:
    Part I : Physics
    Part II : Chemistry
    Part III : (a) English Proficiency and (b) Logical Reasoning
    Part IV : Mathematics
    All questions are of objective type (multiple choice questions); each question with choice of four answers, only one being correct choice. Each correct answer fetches 3 marks, while each incorrect answer has a penalty of 1 mark (-1 mark).

    Notification for BITSAT 2015 is out and online tests will be from 14th May to 29th May 2015. 
    The last date to apply was 20th February 2015. 
  • VITEEE 2015 
    VIT University conducts VITEEE for admission to its various B Tech Degree programs. VITEEE 2015 was conducted online from 8th April to 19th April. Last date to submit applications is 27th Feb 2015. 

    Eligibility for VITEEE:
    A pass in 10+2 or its equivalent with a minimum average of 60% of marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics or Biology (PCM / PCB).
    Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM) candidates are eligible for all the programmes.
    Physics, Chemistry & Biology (PCB) candidates are eligible only for B.Tech. Bioinformatics, Biotechnology & Biomedical Engineering programmes.
    Online applications are now available. 
  • IIST Admission 2015 
    Indian Institute of Space Technology IIST, Thiruvanathapuram considers JEE Mains and Advanced scores for admission to its various B Tech Degree programs in Aerospace Engineering and Avionics and 5 year dual degree program B Tech and M S / M Tech. The registrations open in the month of June . The government of India bears the cost of course and other costs during the course. 

    Eligibility for IIST
    A pass in 10+2 or its equivalent with a minimum average of 60% of marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics .
    Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM) candidates are eligible for all the programmes. 
  • IISc Bangalore Admission 2015 
    Indian Institute of Science Bangalore considers KVPY, JEE Mains and JEE Advanced and AIPMT scores for admission to its 4 year Bachelor in science program. There are 100 seats in the B S Program. The registrations open in the month of Feb. For admissions 2015 the registrations are now open and the last date to apply was 30th April 2015. 

    Eligibility for IISc Bangalore 
    A pass in 10+2 or its equivalent with a minimum average of 60% of marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics as main subjects. Students who have studied biology, biotechnology, IT along with PCM are also eligible. 
  • Indian Statistical Institute Kolkata (ISI) Admission 2015 
    Indian Statistical Institute Kolkata takes a national level entrance test for admissions to its B Sc Statistics (offered at Kolkata ) and B Sc Mathematics ( Offered at Bengaluru ). The registrations open in the month of Feb and in 2015 the applications will close on 3rd April. The ISI Entrance Test will be conducted on 10th may 2015. The government of India provides a stipend for successful students who have to go through an interview after clearing the entrance test. The entrance test assesses capability in Mathematics. For these two programs the Indian National Maths Olympiad awardees of any previous year are exempted from writing the entrance exam. They can apply in prescribed form for admissions. 

    Eligibility for ISI Kolkata
    A pass in 10+2 or its equivalent with mathematics and english as subjects are eligible for admissions. 
  • Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Bhopal, Kolkata, Mohali, Pune, Thiruvanathapuram ( Triputi opening in year 2015 ) IISER Admission 2015 
    Indian Institute of Science Education and Research IISER's are Government of India Institutions that offer 5 year integrated BS MS degree after class 12th. There are around 1000 seats in all. The registrations open in the month of June and in 2015 the applications will close on 27th June 2015. Students need not appear for entrance test if they apply though IIT JEE advanced and KVPY . Students applying through board marks have to appear for IISER aptitude test . IISER aptitude test will be conducted on 12th July 2015. The government of India provides a scholarship of Rs 5000 to all the students selected.
