कॉलेज और विश्वविद्यालय के छात्रों के लिए छात्रवृत्ति की केन्द्रीय योजना

राष्ट्रीय मेरिट छात्रवृत्ति योजना को बंद करने के बाद सरकार ने कॉलेज के लिए छात्रवृत्ति की एक नई केन्द्रीय क्षेत्र की योजना शुरू की है और विश्वविद्यालय के छात्रों ग्यारहवीं पंचवर्षीय योजना के दौरान शुरू की गई है।

इस योजना का उद्देश्य उच्च अध्ययन का पीछा करते हुए अपने दिन-प्रतिदिन के खर्च का एक हिस्सा पूरा करने के लिए गरीब परिवारों से मेधावी छात्रों को वित्तीय सहायता प्रदान करना है।

छात्रवृत्ति वरिष्ठ माध्यमिक परीक्षा (x + 2) के परिणामों के आधार पर सम्मानित किया जाता है।

कॉलेजों और विश्वविद्यालयों में और आदि जैसे चिकित्सा, इंजीनियरिंग, के रूप में व्यावसायिक पाठ्यक्रम के लिए स्नातक / स्नातकोत्तर अध्ययन के लिए प्रति वर्ष 82000 नई छात्रवृत्तियां (लड़कियों के लिए लड़कों के लिए 41000 और 41000) प्रदान किया जा सकता है।

कक्षा में परीक्षा के एक विशेष बोर्ड के लिए प्रासंगिक धारा में सफल उम्मीदवारों की 80 प्रतिशतक से ऊपर हैं, जो छात्रों को 10 + 2 के पैटर्न की बारहवीं या समकक्ष और Rs.6 लाख से कम की वार्षिक पारिवारिक आय होने का पीछा नियमित पाठ्यक्रम (नहीं पत्राचार या किसी भी अन्य छात्रवृत्ति योजना का लाभ उठाने के मान्यता प्राप्त शिक्षण संस्थाओं और नहीं से दूरी मोड), इस योजना के तहत विचार के लिए पात्र होगा। यह छात्रों की सभी श्रेणियों के लिए लागू है, दोनों ही 'सामान्य' और 'सुरक्षित'

इस प्रकार के रूप छात्रवृत्ति की दर रहे हैं।

·Rs 1000 / - कॉलेज और विश्वविद्यालय के पाठ्यक्रम के पहले तीन वर्षों के लिए स्नातक स्तर पर।
·Rs 2000 / - स्नातकोत्तर स्तर पर प्रति माह।
·Rs 2000 / - 4 और 5 साल में व्यावसायिक पाठ्यक्रमों का पीछा छात्रों के लिए प्रति माह।

नोट: "छात्रवृत्ति के लिए एक शैक्षणिक वर्ष में 10 महीने के लिए भुगतान किया जाएगा। इस कड़े मापदंड के आधार पर वार्षिक नवीकरण के अधीन है। "

Scholarships For The Talented

Central Scheme of Scholarship for College and University Students
After Discontinuing the National Merit Scholarship Scheme the government has launched a new Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship for College and University Students has been introduced during XI Five Year Plan.

The objective of the scheme is to provide financial assistance to meritorious students from poor families to meet a part of their day-to-day expenses while pursuing higher studies.

The scholarships are awarded on the basis of the results of senior secondary examination (X+2).

82000 fresh scholarships per Year (41000 for boys and 41000 for girls) for graduate/post-graduate studies in colleges and universities and for professional courses, such as Medical, Engineering, etc. could be provided.

Students who are above 80th percentile of successful candidates in the relevant stream for a particular Board of Examination, in class XII of 10+2 pattern or equivalent and having annual family income of less than Rs.6 lakhs, pursuing regular courses (not correspondence or distance mode) from recognized educational institutions and not availing of any other scholarship scheme, would be eligible for consideration under this Scheme. This is applicable to all categories of students both ‘general’ and ‘reserved’.

The rate of scholarship are as follows.

·         Rs. 1000/- at Graduation level for the first three years of College and University courses.
·         Rs. 2000/- per month at Post-Graduation level.
·         Rs. 2000/- per month For Students pursuing professional courses in the 4th and 5th year.

NOTE: “The scholarships would be paid for 10 months in an academic year. This is subject to annual renewal on the basis of stringent criteria.”

  • Arts stream has a wide variety of subjects which can offer exciting opportunities.
  • Selection of Arts stream after 10th examination enables to pave the way for choosing some other gripping careers.
  • This stream offers subject History, Geography, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology, English, Hindi and Sanskrit for the higher secondary level.
  • But one has to opt for four compulsory subjects in addition to English and a Modern Indian Language.
  • If anyone has interest to pursue a career in mass media, journalism, literature, sociology, social service, human psychology, politics, economics and history then you must choose Arts stream after passing 10th examination.

The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an all-India examination that primarily tests the comprehensive understanding of various undergraduate subjects in engineering and science. GATE is conducted jointly by INDIAN INSTITUTE OF SCIENCE and seven IIT's (BOMBAY(mumbai), DELHI, GUWAHATI,KANPUR, KHARAGPUR, MADRAS and ROORKEE) on behalf of the National Coordination Board – GATE, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD),GOV of IN.
The GATE score of a candidate reflects the relative performance level of a candidate. The score is used for admissions to various post graduation enterance programs (e.g. Master of Engineering, Master of Technology, Doctor of Philosophy) in Indian higher education institutes, with financial assistance provided by MHRD and other government agencies. Recently, GATE scores are also being used by several Indian public sector undertakings (i.e., government-owned companies) for recruiting graduate engineers in entry-level positions. It is one of the toughest and most competitive examinations in India.

Eligibility to take GATE

The following are eligible to take GATE:
  • Bachelor’s degree holders in Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture (4 years after 10+2/ Post-B.Sc./ Post-Diploma) and those who are in the final year of such programs.
  • Master’s degree holders in any branch of Science/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer Applications or equivalent and those who are in the final year of such programs.
  • Candidates in the second or higher year of Four-year integrated Master’s degree programs (Post-B.Sc.) in Engineering/ Technology.
  • Candidates in the fourth or higher year of Five-year integrated Master’s degree programs or Dual Degree programs in Engineering/Technology.
  • Candidates with qualifications obtained through examinations conducted by professional societies recognized by UPSC/AICTE (e.g. AMIE by iE(i), AMICE(i) by the institute of Civil Engineers (India)-iCE(i)) as equivalent to B.E./B.Tech.
Those who have completed section A or equivalent of such professional courses are also eligible.
